I remember the days when all I had to do was wake up early, go to school, play a sport, do homework and sleep. Now that’s only three hours of my everyday. It seems as if 32 hours in a day are the only way to finish every assigned task life gives you. Another thing that has changed is my ability to pick what is worth my time. Once you realize how easy projects can be split up in manageable time portions, then you have taken the first step to success. Remember it is ok to say no to outings and spend some time alone listening to some jazz or electronic music. You need time to recharge. The trick is having a schedule that isn’t a schedule. It goes like so, you wake up early, and pick any available activity like sing in the shower, read the news, text someone good morning it is that easy to switch up a routine. Else the same routine will burn you out and will dull your wits! Once that happens life gets dull and depressing. I speak from past lapses in judgement. Don’t forget to drink tea or coffee and read a random book every now and then. After all, it will make it easier to spark conversations with a) your crush b) your stickler professor c) your cat.
Balance does it
